Every landing bounces you back up on its own. You never press jump. All you do is steer, and once per airtime you get one flap, which is the only thing in the game that is purely skill.

The camera only ever rises. Whatever is below you is the entire budget for getting back to a branch, so a fumbled landing is not the end, but two in a row usually is.

• Golden egg

  Straight points, and the most common thing you will find.

• Cracked egg

  Breaks on contact and throws three shards out. Catch all three and it beats a plain egg by two thirds. Catch none and you get the noise.

• Rising air

  The one thing you steer into rather than land on. It lifts you at a fixed speed for as long as you stay in it.

• Green quill

  Every point counts twice while it lasts.

• Shield

  Eats exactly one arrow, then breaks. The only thing that survives a hit.

• Feather

  Slow, floaty falling. It buys you time, not height.

• Arrows

  Fatal. A red chevron appears at the edge about a second before one flies, which is the only warning you get and the only one you need.

• Snares

  A net pegged across the middle of a branch. The ends of that branch are still safe to land on.

Climbing earns the score. Holding decides what the score is worth. Your wallet is read on the chain at the moment a run is posted, so it counts the birds you hold right then, and nothing you say about it matters.

Hold both collections and you climb on the better ladder, not both at once. One of the 404 DOODBIRDS is worth about five Hoodbirds, because there are 404 of them against 4,500.

Playing is free. Putting a run on the board costs a transaction, about 0.000005 ETH, and a run you do not post is not recorded anywhere.

That is deliberate. A board anybody can fill for nothing is a board of whoever left a script running, and the whole point of this one is that every line on it was worth putting there.

It keeps one row per climber, their best run, and how many they have posted. The count does not change your multiplier. It is there because it will matter later.

Every wallet has a code, and the rule is the same at both ends. Post one run and your code goes live. Somebody comes in on it, posts one of their own, and it counts: ×0.05 on your multiplier, up to ×0.5, and a little for them for arriving.

Both halves cost a transaction, and that is the point. A thousand empty wallets referring each other in a chain would have to pay a thousand times to get anywhere, which is a great deal more than the ceiling is worth.

The token the eggs are named after. Nothing has been distributed and no split has been written, so anybody quoting you a number today is guessing.

What is true is that the counting has already started. Everything that will decide a share is being kept now: what you hold, what it multiplies by, what you scored and how often you posted. You can read your own row on the wallet page at any time, and the split goes on the roadmap in full before anything moves.

Everything runs on Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum Orbit L2. Gas is paid in ETH and costs about as much as thinking about it. Signing in is a signature, not a transaction: it costs nothing and approves nothing.
